I’m into 19th month of my “professional” culinary career, and I can say it’s been more rewarding than I could ever imagine. Of course it’s not comparable to how glamorous the Food Network portrays it, but I can tell you that everyday I come into work it’s a true test of mental, physical, and emotional abilities. I can take it what I learn from the kitchen and apply it to my life and vise versa. There are days when I question my career choice after being drained of all my energy and confidence on a busy night, but by the next morning, I’m ready and excited to tackle it all over again.
Other than that, my off days are spent with the lady, the only person who can keep me sane (and insane jk love you) through the difficult times.

It should not take a holiday or special day for us to be grateful for the wonderful people and things we are blessed with in this life. We are human on the other hand, and those moments of humbleness get buried underneath our chaotic schedules. Like praying, take a moment before you fall asleep to remind yourself of all the things that have gone in your favor. Thank your parents, friends, partner, thank who or whatever, and I guarantee you will fall asleep feeling at peace.
I’ve just been busy, but life has proven to be quite rewarding when you put in the work. Thank you for the kind words. :)
This blog serves no purpose.
My mind highly fears the thought of failure. Considering the downsides to plans and ideas isn’t unwelcome, but it might turn into a treacherous enemy if I’m not cautious. As I lay here torturing myself with “what ifs” and doubt, I have realized the solution to my problem though it may be cliche-you won’t know until you try. As long as I’m sufficiently confident in my abilities and mentality, it shouldn’t hurt to take a leap of faith, and if it does, all I need to do is brush my ass off and stand back up.
I’d love to own a restaurant/bar with this concept.

Spoiled with The Hundreds camo jacket and Diamond button up by my girlfriend. :3
I wish somebody made guidelines on how to get up off the sidelines.
